You may remember me, my name is Mr. Duke, and am a Terrier Mix who met Some Like It Shot at their 1st dog mini shoot event in WA last year. Well, with some help from my fans voting for me in the “My Pet Valentine”contest, I was able to win a private photoshoot and let me tell you… it was worth the trouble getting votes!!
This was my Valentine Mini photo, what you may not realize is that it was the ONLY photo with my ears up from the entire 15 minutes… some photoshop magic too. They could keep their bacon and fun squeaky toys that day, with all those other noises, and animals in the same building, getting me to look relaxed wasn’t really going to happen. Every dog has their day ya know and it just wasn’t mine.
My day was during the photoshoot I won! Once they came to my home I was like a completely different dog; bold, courageous, playful…you know, the typical doggy supermodel. I greeted them at the door and they brought treats again! Woohoo!!
I gave them my best serious look for a headshot and then the real fun began!!
I showed them how to play fetch in the sun rays along our fence.
Then we rolled around in the best grass spots together.
I taught them how to properly eat a cupcake.
Mom even made me sit pretty, (geeez mom!!) but it was worth the treat!
After playing outside I was pooped and ran into mom’s room to get comfy on her bed and show them around our place.
I gave the best sleepy-head puppy-dog-eye looks I could possibly muster up.
So if I had to give advice to other doggies … I highly HIGHLY recommend having a private photoshoot over the minis… It’s better for us dogs and well the photos turn out better too.
Here’s my photoshoot bonus video!!
Some like to play fetch
Some like to snuggle in bed
